ROBAN: The Roban Food Festival 2024 scheduled to be held in September has been postponed to November 15 until December 1.

Kalaka assemblyman Mohamad Duri said the festival, which was rebranded from Pesta Roban, was earlier scheduled to take place from September 13 to 29.

“Due to unavoidable factors, the festival which has become an iconic event in Roban Sub district has to be postponed to November 15 until next December 1,” he said.

Mohamad Duri who is also the festival adviser together with Krian assemblyman Friday Belik said this after the festival committee meeting held at the Roban Sub district Office today.

He said this year’s event will be more exciting and lively with various activities being arranged.

He stated that a replica of an Iban longhouse constructed at the festival site will be a major attraction of this year’s fest.

“The longhouse replica that has three rooms has its own uniqueness. Each room is arranged according to the authenticity of the real longhouse.
