KUCHING: A 19-year-old cashier managed to escape a parang-wielding man who turned up at a 24-hour convenient store at 12.30am yesterday.
The cashier was alone in the store at Jalan Tun Ahmad Zaidi
Adruce when the armed man dropped in.
Fearing for his safety, the cashier upon seeing the armed man entering the store, dashed out using the back door before calling the police.
The suspect left the store empty handed.
Police are investigating the
case.
