KUCHING: Sri Aman DAP Branch chairman Leon Jimat Donald said yesterday the SMK St Luke hall which was leaking had been repaired.

In a press statement, Leon said Deputy Minister of DomesticTrade and Consumer Affairs Chong Chieng Jen approved RM20,000 to repair the roof.

During heavy downpours, Leon said the students were unable to use the hall for assembly or activities. The Parent-Teacher Association had requested for funds to repair the roof.

Leon said the school had produced some of the brightest minds in the country; as it was one of the schools representing Malaysia in the Asean Math & Science Expo in Phuket, Thailand in April this year.
