MIRI: A rented room at Jalan North Yu Seng was broken into by thieves early Tuesday morning.
Several handphones and other electronic gadgets worth nearly RM3,000 were stolen by the intruders.
The incident happened at around 12.30am.
When the incident took place, the victim was in the bathroom but the main door was unlocked.
After coming out of the bathroom, she was stunned and shocked to see all of her belongings scattered on the floor.
Further check inside the room revealed some of her belongings including bank cards were missing.
A police report was lodged later that day.
