RTD pulls up errant motorists in road op

SERIAN: Twenty notices were handed to motorists here on Monday (Sept 2) for committing various traffic offences.

According to the Road Transport Department (RTD), it mounted an operation along the Kota Samarahan, Asajaya, Sadong Jaya and Simunjan roads.

“During the operation, our team inspected 155 vehicles and issued 20 non-compliance notices.

“Among the offences detected include driving without a licence, transporting hazardous loads, illegal vehicle modifications, technical violations, and the use of illegal tinted windows,” the department said.

In light of this, all road users are reminded to exercise caution while on the road and adhere to traffic laws.
