KUCHING: Planning to own affordable homes?
Then seize the benefits offered by Co-op Bank Pertama (CBP) for its ‘Rumah Idamanku’ financing.
CBP regional head Ismail Nuhin said the bank’s latest product was introduced a month ago, offering financing for property values of up to RM1 million.
He said the CBP ‘Rumah Idamanku’ financing offers competitive profit rates with a financing margin of up to 120 per cent.
“There are two categories — either RM200,000 to RM500,000 or RM1,000 to RM1 million in housing value.
“The profit rates are indeed competitive, and the financing margin provided is up to 90 per cent, plus 10 per cent for matters involving insurance and other legal fees, and an additional 20 per cent for renovation costs.
“It is also open to any housing that is currently under construction by developers,” he told reporters during the CBP Open Day at the CBP Jalan Kulas branch, which was held simultaneously across Malaysia.
Ismail asserted that this is part of their efforts to help the community, especially Sarawakians, obtain their dream home.
In addition to Naim Holdings Berhad, Ismail assured that more developers would participate in this initiative.
“This is an opportunity for the people of Sarawak. Actually, this is a new product, and we are in the process of discussing (obtaining agreement) with all the developers in Sarawak,” he added.
On the same note, Ismail said that they offer personal financing processes that take only five hours to complete.
“The personal financing applied for by customers takes only five hours for disbursement.
“That is one of the most important clauses — just five hours for customers to get their money.
“But approval is conditional; like other banks, customers must complete the given documents, meaning documents must be complete and the data provided must indicate that they are eligible for the application. We can provide up to RM300,000,” he added.
Additionally, Ismail said CBP now has an online payment transaction application known as ‘HELO CBP’ to facilitate transactions for any customers who wish to deal with the bank.
