MIRI: Rural development remains the state government’s priority, said Deputy Minister of Women, Childhood and Community Development I (Women and Childhood Development), Datuk Rosey Yunus.
Rosey disclosed this when being asked to comment on yesterday’s proposed State Budget for 2023 by
Sarawak Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg during the State Legislative
Assembly(DUN).
“It’s the highest budget ever and inclusive to the people of Sarawak, especially to the rural areas.,” she said.
“The proposed budget for 2023 is still a rural development-biased budget,”Rosey added.
