KUCHING: Some 50 children from the Salvation Army Chi ldren’s Home here wer e entertained to a Pre-Christmas party by Sarawak Badan Amal Tenaga Isteri – Isteri (Sabati) yesterday.
Sabati President Datin Patinggi Dato Juma’ani was present to distribute goody bags and cash aid in the form of ‘angpow’ amounting to RM3,000 to the children.
In addition, Sabati also donated a refrigerator and two steel kitchen cabinets costing some RM5,500 to the home.
Established in 1950 , the Salvation Army Children’s Home is presently headed by Major Francis Ng.
