KUCHING: Saberkas Pelawan Branch yesterday (May 3) donated six standing fans to Sibu Hospital
Its chairman Michael Tiang said that the branch was responding to the urgent needs of the hospital due to the spike in the number of Covid-19 cases admitted to the hospital.
“Saberkas is the largest youth organisation in Sarawak. One of our objectives is to promote the wellbeing of our community. We encourage youth to participate in activities to achieve the objective,” he added.
The donation was handed over to deputy director of Sibu Hospital Dr Rachel Teng Li Chin.
