KUCHING: The Sarawak United National Youths Organisation (Saberkas) will be having their triennial general meeting (TGM) which will expect approximately 430 participants.

It will be held from this coming October here in Kuching.

This was revealed by its deputy president Datuk Roland Sagah Wee Inn during a press conference at Grand Margherita Hotel here on Tuesday.

Earlier, the 50th Saberkas Supreme Council meeting was held and chaired by its president Datuk Amar Abang Johari Tun Openg who is also the Chief Minister.

During the press Sagah revealed that Saberkas was doing well financially.

“We are still able to provide assistance to our branches by giving them annual aid,” he said.

He also spoke on the role of Saberkas, emphasising on its ability to attract youths from all races and religions.

“Look at us; we have every race and religion here and we are for every race and religion.

“We manage to bring the various races together to be united, especially the youths, as we believe it’s important to start young.
