PAKAN: Sarawak United National Youth Organisation (SABERKAS) in collaboration with Pertubuhan Pemulihan Dalam Komuniti Pakan (PDK Pakan) recently organised the SABERKAS Prihatin Khas donation handover ceremony in conjunction with SABERKAS 2023 Golden Jubilee Celebration here.
Chairman of SABERKAS social and welfare committee cum vice president of SABERKAS, Abang Abdul Aziz Abang Abdul Rauf stated that SABERKAS this year is planning to organise 727 programmes which involve various levels, at the state level, branches and various units.
He added that the organisation of the programmes will emphasise on the three main clusters which are social, recreation and welfare, education, training and leadership alongside economy and entrepreneurship.
He said this in his speech representing Minister of Youth, Sports and Entrepreneur Development cum president of SABERKAS Datuk Seri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah.
The ceremony was attended by 80 people consisting of PDK trainers registered at PDK Pakan, agencies representatives alongside governmental agencies, non-governmental bodies (NGO) and local communities.
