SIBU: Sarawak Dayak Iban Association (SADIA) will organise the Pre-Gawai Dinner 2023 on May 27.
Some 1,000 guests are expected to attend the event, which will be held at the Islamic Complex Hall, Jalan Awang Ramli Amit.
Its organising chairman Munan Laja said the theme for the dinner is “Sustainability of the Iban Community in Participation with Developing Malaysia.”
“We also had lined up a top-notch entertainment programme that included cultural performances and song presentations by recording artists.
“We invite all parties to come and join us to liven up the pre-Gawai Dayak celebration this year,” he said at a press conference yesterday (Feb 18).
Munan added that 100 tables in total have been set up, each of which cost RM 500.
