On the Covid-19 vaccination status, they said as of Friday (Mar 5), 12,961 persons had been inoculated with the vaccine since the start of the state’s immunisation programme on Feb 26.

“This brings the total number of recovered and discharged cases to 8,399 or 77.09 percent of total Covid-19 cases in Sarawak,” they said.

They said 2,372 active cases were still being isolated and treated at PKRCs and hospital wards in the state.

“Today, 225 new person-under-investigation (PUI) cases were reported and four PUIs are still awaiting laboratory test results,” said the committee.
