BINTULU: Samling Group of Companies continues to play an active role in supporting the Sarawak government fight against the Covid-19 outbreak.

Recently, Samling contributed medical supplies including Real Time Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) machines, disposable surgical masks, disinfectants, thermometers and gloves to Bintulu Hospital.

Samling’s chief executive officer Lawrence Chia handed over the contributions to Bintulu Hospital director Dr Davis Johnraj.

In addition , medical supplies were also given to the Tatau and Segan District health clinics.

Meanwhile, Chia said Samling would continue to help Sarawak’s community and medical institutions to curb the spread of the Covid-19
pandemic.

“We (Samling) will help the Sarawak government in the war against Covid-19 which has affected the lives of many,” he said.

He hoped the donations would contribute a lot to the efforts of the frontliners, especially doctors and nurses in the state.

Dr Davis thanked Samling for the donation on behalf of Bintulu hospital.
