The SAR team working to locate missing man.

SARATOK: The search and rescue (SAR) operation resumed this morning to locate a missing person in Nanga Budu, Krian near here.

A spokesperson from the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) spokesperson said the victim, identified as Duncan Leslie, 28, was reported missing after leaving the house on Tuesday.

The operation which enters its second day had been postponed as at 5.15pm today. The victim has yet to be found.

However, the search team had found clues on the first day of the operation with the discovery of the victim’s belongings by the riverbank.

The SAR operation was activated at 8.22am on Friday after receiving a report of a missing person by police.

According to a witness who is also the victim’s friend said the victim who was under the influence of alcohol ran towards the road nearby Ng Busy Registry office on Wednesday at around 5pm, presumably thought that the victim who clad in black t-shirt and a pair of brown short pants was heading back home.

However, the victim has not returned home since.
