BELAGA: A search and rescue (SAR) operation has been launched to locate a disabled man who failed to return to Rh Uma Kulit, Long Mitik.
The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) said firefighters from the Belaga station were sent to the location to gather information and commence the SAR after receiving a call around 11.30am.
The man has been identified as Balan Lebung, aged 49. His father lodged a missing person’s report on Monday (July 4).
According to the father, his son had left the house last Wednesday (June 29) and has yet to return home.
At press time, there are no new updates from the authorities.
