KUCHING: The Saratok district is now a Covid-19 red zone after recording 45 cases of local infection in the last 14 days.
The State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) said in a statement on Sunday (June 13) that the state now had 30 red districts, two orange districts and eight yellow districts.
The red zone code is attributed to areas with more than 40 cases, orange for areas with 21 to 40 cases, yellow for areas with zero to 20 cases, and green for areas with no cases recorded in 14 days.
The SDMC said there was no new cluster in Sarawak.
Of the 82 active clusters in the state, ten had recorded 85 new cases, it said.
