KUCHING: Brunei Darussalam’s Second Minister of Foreign Affairs, Datuk Seri Setia Awang Erywan Pehin Datu Pekerma Jaya Mohd Yusof paid a courtesy visit to Deputy Premier, Datuk Amar Awang Tengah Ali Hasan at his office yesterday with the objective of discussing bilateral cooperation between Sarawak and Brunei.

The courtesy visit touched on several aspects including the energy industry, tourism, trade and industry, the Sarawak Trade and Tourism Office Brunei (STATOB), and the Northern Coastal Highway Project.

Among those present during the courtesy visit at Wisma Sumber Alam were Sarawak State Secretary, Datuk Amar Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki, Sarawak State Attorney General, Datuk Saferi Ali, Permanent Secretary to the Sarawak Ministry of Natural Resources and Urban Development, Datuk Abdullah Julaihi, and Director of the Economic Planning Unit (EPU) Sarawak, Datuk Lester Matthew.

Earlier on Thursday, Awang Erywan had also paid a courtesy visit to the Premier, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg.
