SIBU: The Sarawak Children’s Festival is set to make its return on Sept 2 and 3 at the Sarawak State Library (Pustaka) here.
A press statement issued today by the organisers said the festival has been designed to embrace inclusivity, ensuring that children with special needs are not left behind in the festivities, thereby serving as a platform to nurture a knowledgeable and innovative generation.
“Furthermore, children will be exposed to the library’s functions, which is not only a place for reading, borrowing, and returning books, but also a place to explore new technologies and enhance their creativity through hands-on activities provided.
“Various activities such as exhibitions, performances, storytelling sessions and STEM activities will be offered free for the children.
“Visitors are also invited to stop by and purchase food and drinks from stalls set up by various local vendors at the parking area during the programme,” the organisers said.
