KUCHING: A meeting focused on the post-mortem analysis involving the Sarawak Sukma contingent following their success as overall champion at Sukma XXI 2024, will take place on October 15.

Sarawak Sports Corporation (SSC) chief executive officer (CEO) Awang Putrayusrie Awang Redzuan, said that various matters would be discussed in the meeting, including the status of coaches with their respective teams.

He also mentioned that several agendas would be discussed during the meeting, including the positions of all previously appointed coaches.

“Therefore, the post-mortem meeting will then determine the future of the coaching staff regarding whether their contracts will be renewed or not,” he told Sarawak Tribune recently.

Awang Putrayusrie emphasised that everything will depend on the reports from each team or sports association involved.

“What’s certain is that we will assess the reports submitted by each team or association.

“If any coaches fail to meet the desired targets, they will be required to provide a letter of explanation before any further actions are taken by us (SSC),” he said.
