KUCHING: The organisers of ‘Sarawak Dialogue 2018’ have expressed their desire to make it an annual event.

According to its organising chairman Adrain Jerome, the state has a lot to offer and the next step is to brand Sarawak.

“We believe there are four key areas that need to be focused on so that Sarawak can move forward – tourism, education, health, and digital economy.

“Through this dialogue session, the sub-topics that we have covered such as wellness, technology and entrepreneurship will be able to springboard Sarawak towards the next step.

“By making this an annual event, we will keep to these four key areas but will go more in-depth into them through discussions,” he said.

He hoped the dialogue session could also be held outside of Sarawak like in India or the United States of America (USA).

Speaking on this year’s dialogue session, he said it had been successful despite being organised on a small scale.

“We organised it on a small scale first to see how it goes. Now we have to be more focused to help the state move forward,” he said.

Adrian was speaking at a media conference after wrapping up the dialogue session at Riverside Majestic Hotel here yesterday.
