KUCHING: Sarawak will move into Phase Two of the National Recovery Plan (NRP) tomorrow (Wednesday, July 14) at 12.00am.

This was said by the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) which stated that the decision came after the committee and National Security Council (MKN) conducted risk assessments; taking into consideration the threshold values for the three NRP indicators.

“The existing standard operating procedures (SOPs) will be effective until 11.59pm on Tuesday (July 13) and we have uploaded the infographic on the standard operating procedures (SOPs) for ‘Roadmap To Recovery Plan’ for the Four Phases.

“This is to facilitate the public in understanding the permitted and prohibited SOPs from one phase to the next which will be implemented throughout the four phases in Sarawak.

“The detailed SOP for the specific phases will be released by MKN and can be accessed via its website (https://www.mkn.gov.my),” it said in a statement yesterday (July 12).

The committee also congratulated all who have given their cooperation which allowed Sarawak to move onto the Phase Two of NRP.
