KUCHING: Exco representatives from all divisions presented various proposals to enhance Sarawak football at the FAS Annual General Meeting (AGM) including plans for local tournaments, new teams, and a futsal league entry.

Among the proposals were frameworks for organising local tournaments, as well as suggestions for the establishment of the President’s Cup and Youth Cup teams.

Additionally, there was a proposal for the formation of a futsal team to compete in the Malaysia Futsal League.

The Sarawak Football Association (FAS) AGM was held at a local hotel here today (Nov 9).

FAS president, Abang Zulkarnain Abang Abdul Rahman, said that the association welcomed the proposals put forward by the exco representatives from the various divisions involved.

He also stressed the importance of carefully reviewing the proposals before making any final decisions.
