SUBIS: A total of 700 school uniform aid vouchers from the Sarawak Foundation were handed over to the Subis District Education Office (DEO) at the Subis District Office Meeting Room, here recently.

The vouchers involved 44 primary schools and four secondary schools in the Subis district.

These included seven primary schools in Samalaju and two primary schools in Kemena.

In addition, there were 27 primary schools and three secondary schools in Bekenu as well as eight primary schools and one secondary school in Lambir.

Accordingly, the voucher can be used at Kedai Al-Waseel Enterprise, Bekenu bazaar and Kedai Everwin in Batu Niah.

The handing over was made by Subis administrative officer Minggu Jampong representing the Subis District Officer to Subis PPD representative Muhammad Nor Abdullah.

Also present were Subis PPD assistant Allen Shia Kwong Sim and Subis District Office administrative officer Dr James Jam Jolly.
