KUCHING: The Head of State Tun Pehin Seri Abdul Taib Mahmud received a courtesy call from the Sarawak Islamic Council members at his residence in Demak Laut yesterday morning.
The delegation members led by Datuk Misnu Taha, was to introduce 14 new council members who had been appointed for a three-year period from August 1, 2021 till July 31, 2024.
Also present were council member Datuk Seri Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki and an ex officio Datuk Kipli Yassin.
