“For this year’s IMEX, a unique name had been decided titled ‘Tribe Legacy Sarawak.’ The theme would be Business Events Support Community Development. It is a unique celebration of all that is good about business events, especially when it comes to getting the local communities involved for their benefit.”

Abdul Karim added that there will be four main topics covered during IMEX.

“Sarawak’s Post Covid Development Strategy will be the first talking point during IMEX. The second talking point will be Sarawak Pavilion will feature an exhibition on Sarawak’s legacy impact development and the International Journal of Business Events and Legacies. The third talking point will be Sarawak’s spotlight on local small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and NGOs.
