KUCHING: Hikmatullah Hajid Ahmad Khan has been appointed as the new director of Polytechnic Kuching Sarawak (PKS).
Hikamatullah replaces Jamaliah Ahmad who has been appointed as the new Polytechnic’s competency and career enhancement division director in Putrajaya in July this year.
Hikmatullah, who hails from Bintulu, was previously the director of Metro Kuala Lumpur Polytechnic before he was transferred to PKS. He had also served as a lecturer in PKS.
Meanwhile, Ahmady Solong was appointed as PKS academic support deputy director.
He replaces Mohamad Khirudin Amdan, who was transferred to Sultan Salahuddin Abdul Aziz Shah Polytechnic, Shah Alam.
Mohamad Khirudin was previously the head of the petrochemical engineering department at PKS.
