KUCHING: Associating Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg’s name for certain purposes require permission.
‘Sarawak Laksa by Abang Jo’ was recently spotted at a popular food court in Petaling Jaya though it has nothing to do with the Premier.
A picture of the place was shared on a Facebook page called Sarawakku on Wednesday (Aug 9).
“The owner of the eatery has probably even seen it as a good marketing strategy to associate it with the Premier though it has nothing to do with him.
“Using the Premier’s name for public or other purposes does need permission from him,” the Facebook page said.
