KUCHING: Bukit Aman Police Headquarters on Monday (Apr 26) handed over nine vehicles to four Sarawak police departments and agencies.

The four-wheel drive (4WD) vehicles consist of five Toyota Hilux 2.8 Black Edition Double Cabin (Auto) for Canine (K9) Unit and four Mitsubishi Triton 2.4 Vg Premium Double Cab 4×4 Auto Diesel.

Present to officiate at the handover ceremony was Sarawak Police Commissioner Datuk Aidi Ismail.

The recipients are the Sarawak Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Sarawak Narcotics Criminal Investigation Department (NCID), Sarawak Marine Police Region 5 and Police Air Wing Unit.

The state CID received five Toyota Hilux and one Mitsubishi Triton.

Meanwhile the state NCID, marine police and police air wing each received a Mitsubishi Triton.
