SINGAPORE: Sarawak products have been further promoted to the world through The Food & Beverages (FHA) programme.
The programme, held in Singapore from April 25 to 28, showcased 38 types of food and drinks products from Sarawak.
Sarawak Trade and Tourism Office Singapore (Statos) chief executive officer Chew Chang Guan said the programme was the best platform to promote Sarawak products to the world.
“This is a platform for businesses from Sarawak to promote their products to the whole world and not just limited to Singapore because most buyers from all over the world come here to get new ideas and new products for their businesses.”
Meanwhile, Sarawak-based company Iana Corporation Sdn Bhd managing director Mohammad Hafidz Rohani said this year was the second time the company was participating in the programme.
“This is the company’s second participation in FHA and I can say that the visitors who come to this programme are visitors who come from all over the world.
“We also hope that our products can enter the Singapore and Johor Bahru markets more easily.”
FHA-Food & Beverage is Asean’s most international food and drinks trade event that brings together the global food and hospitality community.
