SARIKEI: The Sarawak Service Centre (PSS) here officially commenced operations today, offering various services to the local community.
PSS is a one-stop service delivery transformation initiative by the Sarawak government, designed to be people-friendly.
Services are accessible through multiple channels, including counters, mobile apps, official portals, and e-kiosks.
According to the Sarawak Public Service Digitalisation Unit, PSS is already operational in six other divisions: Kuching, Serian, Betong, Sri Aman, Sibu, and Miri.
The Sarikei branch marks the seventh PSS in the state.
Among the services offered at PSS are bill payments for water, electricity, and assessment tax, as well as payments for Sarawak Gas, housing loan repayments to the Sarawak Housing Development Corporation (HDC), and land rent.
Located on the first floor of Lot 755, Sarawak Government Administration Centre, Sarikei Division, at Jalan Seng Lee, PSS Sarikei operates from Monday to Friday, with closures on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.
