KUCHING: Soka Gakkai Malaysia (SGM), Sarawak Branch donated 300 cartons of drinks and 300 boxes of face mask to the community of Kampung Sinar Budi Baru.
Due to the high number of Covid-19 cases there, the community was placed under enhanced movement control order (EMCO) on June 10.
Sarawak SGM representative Tan Chai Hong handed over the items to the village head, witnessed by Tan Kai, a political secretary to the Chief Minister, on Monday (June 21).
Sarawak SGM expressed its heartfelt gratitude to frontliners for their efforts during the pandemic, and hoped that the donations would ease the burden during this difficult time.
