SIBU: The Woodlands International School here has made the state proud by winning third place in the recent Robomaster Challenge in Singapore under the Open Category.
According to its press statement, the champion was NK Robotics from Singapore, while second place went to Nanyang Polytechnic also from Singapore.
“This was a tremendous success! After a full day of intense competition among 11 top schools from Singapore, we proudly secured the third place in the Open Category, competing alongside stronger teams, including university students,” the school said in a statement yesterday (Nov 8).
The school also extended its gratitude to the Minister for Education, Innovation and Talent Development, Datuk Sri Roland Sagah Wee Inn, and his ministry for their support throughout the journey.
“We extend our heartfelt thanks to U-Best, the University of Technology Sarawak (UTS), and DJI DronesKaki Sarawak for their invaluable support and encouragement, which helped us achieve this remarkable 3rd-place finish in our first international competition,” it added.
