KUCHING: A three-day Sarawakiana Carnival 2017 at the State Library here came to a close yesterday.
A member of the State Library Management Board Dr. Haji Abdul Rahman Deen officiated at the closing ceremony.
Among the activities were a hadrah competition, Permainan Mensia Marek (traditional games), a cooking demonstration, Pratuong Workshop (Bidayuh traditional instrument workshop) and others.
The next carnival, with the theme of “1Warisan, 1Tradis, 1Sarawak”, will be held in 2019.
Also present was State Library chief executive officer Hajah Rashidah Haji Bolhassan.
