As such, they have high expectations and look forward to the tabling of the Sarawak State Budget 2024.

The State Budget 2024 will be tabled by Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg during the Sarawak Legislative Assembly (DUN) sitting which convenes on Monday until Nov 29.

I hope more fundings and manpower will be allocated, especially for the healthcare sector as health has been the main priority and the number of patients has also been rising. Therefore an increase in manpower and funding would be essential.

Lately, there have been calls for more teachers in the state as Sarawak lacked teachers to teach. Therefore, a focus in the area of education would be great. For example, more teachers should be recruited in Sarawak as well as more trainings to be organised to enhance the level of education.

Businesses have finally boomed especially after COVID-19 epidemic, however, I would love to also see much more transparency in the distribution of funds. This would also enhance trust and further inform the public of such allocations.
