SARIKEI: The Pasi/Tanjung Manis Road project will benefit Sarikei and Bintangor residents. “With the completion of the road, people from Sarikei and Bintangor can bypass Sibu if they want to go to Tanjung Manis,” Assistant Minister of Coastal Road Datuk Julaihi Narawi said.
“In the meantime, a bridge across Batang Rajang will be built under the coastal road project,” he told reporters after visiting the site of the Pasi Road project here recently.
Repok Assemblyman Dato Sri Huang Tiong Sii and Meradong Assemblyman Datuk Ding Kuong Hiing were among those accompanying the assistant minister to the project site.
