Satok rep flags off Temedak Fun Walk, promotes active lifestyle among community

KUCHING: Some 200 residents in Satok today walked 5km as part of the Temedak Fun Walk programme.

The programme, which was organised by the Kampung Temedak village safety and development committee (JKKK) was to foster an active lifestyle among the community.

It was also to instil a spirit of unity and togetherness among the local residents in Satok.

Present to officiate at the flag-off of the programme was Satok assemblyman Datuk Ibrahim Baki.

The participants walked about 5km starting from in front of Surau Darul Qarar, passing through the village areas and returning to the starting point.

Also present were Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Satok’s Muhibbah sub-branch head Ali Sujang and Kampung Muhibbah community leader Abdul Kudus Lait Ahmad.
