KUCHING: RHB Islamic Bank Berhad has taken a significant leap forward in Islamic Wealth Management (IWM) with the launch of its RHB Islamic Specialists Wealth Advisor (RISWA) Certification Programme.
As the first Islamic bank to implement a customised IWM certification programme designed specifically for its Relationship Managers, RHB Islamic is solidifying its leadership position in this growing space.
Developed in collaboration with the Islamic Banking and Finance Institute Malaysia (IBFIM), the RISWA programme equips Relationship Managers with a deep understanding of Islamic wealth management principles, products, and customer needs.
The programme boasts rigorous training modules covering essential aspects of wealth creation, accumulation, protection, purification and distribution.
“By mastering these fundamentals and honing customer engagement skills,” said RHB Islamic Managing Director Datuk Adissadikin Ali in a statement.
“Relationship Managers will be empowered to offer tailored, Shariah-compliant solutions that align with customers’ financial goals and spiritual values.”
This initiative positions RHB Islamic to deliver a holistic wealth management experience that is not just financially rewarding, but also ethically grounded and socially responsible, he added.
Aligned with the Bank’s strategy to be everyone’s primary bank, the RISWA programme is central to achieving RHB Islamic’s ambitious IWM target of RM6 billion by 2026.
