KUCHING: Systematic governance at school and parental encouragement are important elements to bring out the best in students at primary level.
Samariang assemblywoman Datuk Sharifah Hasidah Sayeed Aman Ghazali said such matters were important to produce a young generation who excel in both academic and religious studies, in this instance, for the development of the community in the Petra Jaya and Samariang areas.
“The result of continuous support from parents and trust in the school helps the school achieve success,” she said during the Al-Amin Kuching No 2 Islamic Primary School Student Appreciation Ceremony at the North Kuching City Hall Auditorium (DBKU) on Sunday (Feb 12).
She stated that the ceremony was the first held by the school as the school had only been established two years ago.
She added that the success here proves the excellent management and administration of the school with the support of parents.
“Furthermore, I believe by having Noren Alias as the headmaster of the school, it will further improve the quality of the school administration in the future,” she said.
The school currently has over 100 students from Primary 1 to Primary 5 and by March this year, it will open its doors for Primary 6 students.
