BALINGIAN: A search for a 74-year-old man missing in a forest near Rumah Bunak in Tepus here entered its sixth day yesterday.
A search and rescue (SAR) operations centre reported that two groups had searched the areas upstream and downstream of Sungai Rusa, but Perau Angga was still not found.
Not even clues were found although some equipment was brought in to help provide clear vision of the search areas in the forest.
Assistant Fire Superintendent Nazari Harun headed the search and rescue operations team comprising 13 firefighters, two policemen, nine Civil Defence Force (APM) personnel and 11 longhouse residents.
After a discussion, the search was called off at 5pm and will resume today.
