KUCHING: Police have launched a search for a disabled girl who is feared missing after failing to return to her home in Kampung Gita, here.

District police chief ACP Ahsmon Bajah confirmed that a report regarding the disappearance of the 26-year-old woman has been received by the police.

“Yes, a report was just received. The search has been activated and other District Police Headquarters (IPD) have been informed,” he said briefly when contacted on Saturday (Jan 7).

Earlier, it was reported that Zaza Rosli through a post on Facebook said that the search for her sister Sadiah Rosli had been carried out.

“Since this morning, our family has been looking for her, but without success.

“In fact, we have also searched nearby houses but we still could not find her,” she said.

It is understood that the missing woman was last seen wearing a pink shirt and carrying a bag.

“Some say that my sister got into a white car in a residential area in Gita.
