KUCHING: Gabungan Parti Sarawak (GPS) Datuk Seri Tiong King Sing successfully defended his Bintulu parliamentary seat with a majority of 22,168 votes.
He managed to secure 43,455 votes in total, defeating his opponents from Pakatan Harapan Chiew Chan Yew (21,287 votes) and Perikatan Nasional Duke Janteng (5,650 votes).
Meanwhile, GPS’ Datuk Hasbi Habibollah retained his Limbang parliamentary seat and will be serving his fourth term as the MP with a majority of 9,998 votes.
He gathered 14,897 votes and defeated Racha Balang from Pakatan Harapan who received 4,899 votes.
