SIBU: Sarawak Energy Berhad (SEB) held a breaking-of-fast event at the Islamic Complex hall here on Tuesday (April 2) where it also presented donations to three mosques and five surau.
The three mosques are Masjid Babusalam Jeriah, Masjid Darul Istiqamah Sukun and Masjid Darul Halim Kpg Bahagia Jaya.
The five surau are Surau An-Najihin KV Sibu, Surau Darus Sa’adah Kpg Pa’dris, Surau Darul Rahmah Kpg Kedada, Surau Darul Ehsan Kpg Hilir and Surau Darul Edruce Jeriah.
SEB Chief Executive Officer Datuk Sharbini Suhaili handed over the contributions to the recipients.
He also gave out duit raya to 62 residents from Komplexs Kebajikan Juma’ani Tuanku Hj Bujang as well as 22 residents from Madrasah Darul Uloom Islamiyah Sibu.
SEB Senior Vice President (Corporate services) Siti Aisah Adenan, SEB central region manager Effendy Syaiful Abdullah and Chairman of Sibu Municipal Council (SMC) Clarence Ting Ing Horth were also present.
