KUCHING: The second Rafflesia Tuan Mudae with a diameter of 55cm started blooming at Gunung Gading National Parkyesterday.
According to Sarawak Forestry Corporation (SFC) on its Facebook page, the flower with five petals is expected to bloom for six days from March 13 until March 18, 2022.
“Visitors who wish to see the flower need to walk about 250 metres or 10 minutes from the park headquarters.
“A guided walk is compulsory and visitors are advises to adhere to the park’s standard operating procedure (SOPs) at all times while enjoying the beauty of our park,” SFC said.
Recently, the first Rafflesia was said spotted blooming on March 7 until March 11.
