INDONESIA: Sara Hospitality Sdn Bhd (SHSB), a subsidiary of Sarawak Economic Development Corporation (SEDC) Sarawak, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with PT Amithya Hotel Internasional in Bali, Indonesia on Saturday.

The MOU will pave the way for both parties to explore potential business collaboration, especially in areas of marketing packages and activities, collaterals and cross-selling through each hotel’s marketing platforms.

SEDC, in a press statement yesterday, said the collaboration between SHSB and Amithya Hotel Internasional would also include loyalty programmes currently undertaken separately by both parties.

Thus, the MOU will provide better mileage as well as a wider choice and opportunities for existing and prospective members to stay and dine at hotels belonging to both parties.

The collaboration will also serve as a platform to develop cross exposure between employees from both parties in terms of training and exchange programmes that will enhance their customer service delivery, sales and marketing activities and developing best service practices.
