KUCHING: Kuching City FC are currently in Cambodia to play four friendlies against some of the country’s top sides.

City Boys head coach Irfan Bakti Abu Salim said the tour would be a great exposure for his men before they kickstart their Malaysia Super League season at the end of this month.

“Our players have been given the opportunity to test their mettle against some of the best football clubs in Cambodia.

“Another important thing is that we will have more opportunities to improve the team chemistry,” Irfan said after The City Boys were defeated by Nagaworld FC on Thursday night.

Kuching City FC will play another three matches in Cambodia — against ISI Dangkor Senchey on Friday night followed by games against Cambodian Premier League defending champions Phnom Penh Crown FC on Feb 4 and runners-up Visakha FC on Feb 5.
