KUCHING: The Theater Restaurant and Gallery at Regatta Suites Kuching is showcasing its Selera Lagenda buffet spread during this Ramadan month.
The delicious spread is prepared by its in house executive chef from Beaufort, Sabah, Daney Amjah, who has 40 years of culinary experience in 4 and 5-star international and local hotel companies within Malaysia.
Chef Daney said to reporters at the launch of his Ramadan menu here on Thursday night that he and his team have prepared a combination feast of Sabah’s and Sarawak’s popular authentic dishes including timeless classics and signature specialties from across Malaysia.
His highlights include the native of Negeri Sembilan ikan tilapia masak lemak cili api, Sarawakian inspired bubur lambuk Bario and sotong sumbat Bario sos percik, typical wedding and social event dish gulai daging kawa commonly known in Semenanjung Malaysia, the classic Kelantanese favourite ayam percik panggang, the iconic Penang street food powerhouse char kway teow and fish havana from the Land below the Wind, Sabah.
Other highlights also include the delicious array of bazaar-like live cooking stations such as bakar bakar seafood, meat and satay, deep fried local treats, ABC and sweets.
Both indoor and al fresco seating is available.
