LUNDU: Sematan, Lundu and Sampadi zones received a total of 24 donated sacrificial cows at the Ibadah Qurban 2020 programme in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidilada yesterday.
The cows were donated by Tanjong Datu assemblywoman Datuk Amar Jamilah Anu including 10 from Santubong MP Datuk Seri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar and unnamed donors.
Tanjong Datuk Youth Movement chief Azizul Annuar Adenan Satem said the donations were handed over in line with the new normal and standard operating procedures (SOPs) set by the government.
“Six cows were presented to Sampadi zone, five cows for Sematan zone, six cows for Kampung Pandan and Kampung Sileng Melayu, six for Stunggang Melayu Baru and Stunggang Melayu Lama, as well as one each for Mualaf suraus in Lundu area,” hea said at the event.
