SANTUBONG: A seminar on how to optimise the use of sports facilities and its marketing potentials was held by Sarawak Sports Corporation (SSC) at the Damai Resorts near here from April 12 to 14.
The two-day think-tank event was officiated by SSC Chief Executive Officer Dr Ong Kong Swee with participants from the SSC, the Sarawak State Sports Council (MSNS), the Education Department, the Ministry of Youth and Sports and Solidarity as well as a representative from the STB Sarawak Tourism Board.
The workshop was chaired by SSC deputy CEO Mohamad Irtidzar and the participants was divided into two groups to share their ideas which will be compiled into a report for study and action.
