MIRI: A two-day seminar focused on research and studies in education is being held here today to strengthen digital skills in the realm of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET).
Education, Innovation, and Talent Development Minister Datuk Roland Sagah Wee Inn, said that the seminar is designed to boost the quality of teaching and enhance learning methods for educators.
Furthermore, its aim is to promote the consistent application of research studies in classrooms across the State.
“The rise of digital technologies and Industry 4.0 is reshaping our world. Therefore, we must change our perspectives to fully appreciate the potential of TVET,” Sagah said.
His speech was read by the Principal Assistant Secretary of the Ministry of Education, Innovation, and Talent Development, Donald Henry Nohed.
The seminar, which began today (Tuesday), is organised by the Miri Vocational College’s Unit for Innovation, Research, and Action Studies at Pustaka Miri.
